Florida State extends offer to 2028 in-state linebacker
The Florida State Seminoles have extended an offer to 2028 three-star linebacker Cale Britt out of Orlando, Florida.
Florida State has been relentless in their search for linebacker talent since they promoted Ernie Sims to lead the unit. This week, another target has been indentified as three-star prospect Cale Britt announced an offer from FSU. "After a great conversation with @ErnieSims34 I am honored to receive a offer from @FSUFootball," Britt wrote on social media.
The 6-foot-3, 209-pounder is a little over 20 scholarships on the table. His other offers include the Miami Hurricanes, Arkansas Razorbacks, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, UCLA Bruins, Virginia Tech Hokies, Wisconsin Badgers, UCF Knights, and more. Britt was a highly productive player during his sophomore campaign at Bishop Moore Catholic High School.
He finished with 118 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks. 247Sports composite rankings have Britt listed as the No. 332 player in the country and the No.
21 linebacker. He's also ranked as the No. 48 prospect in Florida as well.
