Kentucky could lose Milan Momcilovic to an all-too-familiar foe

The Kentucky Wildcats are firmly in the mix for forward Milan Momcilovic, but will have to battle a familiar foe for his services.

The Kentucky Wildcats , along with a number of other programs, await word from players going through the NBA draft process on whether or not they'll return to school. They have until May 27 to pull out, and Mark Pope and his staff are waiting on two key decisions from Malachi Moreno and Milan Momcilovic . Kentucky would love to get both into Lexington for next season, and Moreno will definitely be a Wildcat if he exits the draft.

Momcilovic, though, is a bit more complicated. If he returns to college, he also has to choose a school. Unfortunately for Big Blue Nation, the Louisville Cardinals are once again in the mix to swipe an elite player from the Cats.

Ben Roberts of the Lexington Herald-Leader was present as Momcilovic spoke about his situation. He made it clear that he is completely focused on the NBA draft for now, but would decide on the best route based on feedback from NBA teams. If he does return to college, Momcilovic pointed out the fit with Kentucky.

I think Kentucky would be a good fit.... I really like the way they play. He added, "I feel like Iโ€™d be a great player for him, and heโ€™d be a good coach for me.
