In a vote that ended May 15, Cincinnati. com readers selected the 2025-2026 Cincinnati Enquirer/Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Athletes of the Week from high school sports action through May 10. Winners can print their certificates from this week starting Monday and other weeks now using this Drop Box link .

Ohio small-school baseball team: Batavia – Batavia is on a six-game winning streak following a sweep of Western Brown and a 1-0 win over Roger Bacon. Northern Kentucky/Indiana baseball team: Lloyd Memorial – The Juggernauts had a four-win week, starting with a 15-0 shutout of Williamstown. Ohio big-school softball team: Hamilton – Hamilton started the week with four consecutive wins, edging out Fairfield and cruising past Princeton, Mason and Colerain.
Ohio small-school softball team: Georgetown – Georgetown went 4-0 last week, sweeping Felicity-Franklin, beating Blanchester and shutting out Whiteoak. Northern Kentucky/Indiana softball team: Villa Madonna – Villa Madonna secured three wins last week, beating Bellevue, Ludlow and Dayton. Boys spring team: Bellevue track – Bellevue took first at the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference Division III meet, scoring 107 total points.
