Mike Trout's resurgence, Jose Soriano's excellence, and Jo Adell's home-run robberies have been the best storylines this year. But, there's a lot of attention on the Angels thanks to their likelihood to be sellers at the MLB trade deadline. With plenty of interesting players worth acquiring, it's not a surprise the Angels are drawing trade interest.

Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller is calling upon the Angels to "sell what they can," which might include a 37-homer slugger in Jo Adell. "Maybe Jo Adell with one year of arbitration eligibility remaining, too, if they get a tantalizing offer for the right fielder who hit 37 home runs in 2025," Miller writes. However, while the theory of trading Adell might make sense, this potential trade would be a massive mistake for the Angels.

Angels trading Jo Adell would be a mistake Adell might be a realistic trade candidate for the Angels, as he's under club control through 2027 and would surely draw plenty of interest if he were made available. But there's a reason why the Angels shouldn't trade Adell. He's the kind of player the Angels should try to sign long-term, and if they can't, then consider trading him at next year's deadline.
