Son of Michigan Heisman winner, Hall of Famer, commits to Wolverines
Charles Woodson Jr., the son of Heisman winner and Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson, has committed to the Michigan Wolverines.
It's always important to attract big names and get major commitments in college football, but when you're talking about a high school prospect who just happens to be the offspring of arguably the most famous player in your school's history, the importance rises. Fortunately for Kyle Whittingham and the Michigan Wolverines, they were able to get the job done and land a commitment from 3-star cornerback Charles Woodson Jr. , the son of Charles Woodson, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, and both a Heisman Trophy winner and national champion at Michigan in 2007.
Woodson Jr. is rated as the No. 804 player and No.
82 safety in the 2027 class, and while he may not be as highly touted as his father was going into college, the expectations will undoubtedly be high.
