In that announcement, however, came a pretty big update: one of Miami’s Friday Night games has been changed to a Saturday! Which game? As the title of the piece suggests, it’s the late November home game against Virginia Tech.

In an interesting quirk, the trio of weeknight games are the first 3 games of the season: Friday September 4th at Stanford, Thursday September 10th vs FAMU, and Friday September 18th at Wake Forest. This is a minor update with a major impact.
