IPL 2026 makes history: All 10 teams record a centurion in a single season
IPL 2026 has etched its name in history as every team now boasts a centurion, a first in the tournament's 19 years. From emerging talents like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi to seasoned stars like Virat Kohli and Quinton de Kock, batters across all franchises have achieved the three-figure mark, showcasing a remarkable display of batting prowess throughout the season.
For the first time in IPL history, all the 10 teams have at least a player who has scored a century after Virat Kohli completed his 9th IPL century for RCB against KKR in Raipur. IPL 2026 which has been shattering the record books, is the first season in the tournament's 19-year history where all the franchises have registered at least one centurion . From teenage prodigies like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi to iconic veterans like Virat Kohli , Quinton de Kock , batters across every single dugout have crossed the three-figure mark.
Here are the players of each team with a century this year: CSK: Sanju Samson Samson scored the first century of this season , with an unbeaten 115 against DC in Chepauk stadium. It was his fourth IPL century. Against arch-rivals MI, he scored his second century of this IPL season with a score of 101 not out.
MI: Quinton de Kock, Tilak Verma and Ryan Rickleton Though MI are languishing at the bottom half of the table, they have produced 3 centurions this season. De Kock, playing his first match of the season against PBKS, slammed an unbeaten 112 of 60 deliveries. Tilak Verma scored a 45-ball 101 century against GT.
Ryan Rickleton, the wicketkeeper batsman scored the fastest IPL century for MI reaching his century in 44 deliveries. Playing against SRH, Rickleton scored 123 runs in 55 deliveries. RCB: Virat Kohli Opening the innings for the defending champions, Kohli smacked match-winning century where he scored 105 runs off 60 deliveries against KKR.
