Ronda Rousey waited for her moment to clap back at Khamzat Chimaev.
INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Ronda Rousey waited for her moment to clap back at Khamzat Chimaev . Chimaev, who lost his middleweight title to Sean Strickland at UFC 328 , called Rousey ungrateful for her comments towards the UFC, where she questioned the treatment of their athletes.
Rousey (12-2) makes her return against Gina Carano (7-1) in Saturday's MVP MMA 1 (Netflix) main event at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. "There never would be no Ronda Rousey without the UFC," Chimaev said on his YouTube channel . "I hate this.
If they pay good or they don't pay good, who cares? When she was Olympic champ, what did she get? " Rousey did not hold back when responding to Chimaev.
She went off on his fighting style. "I would want to make something abundantly clear and that's that I owe Dana (White) and the Fertittas immensely," Rousey said during Thursday's press conference. "I would be caught dead before you ever heard me say a bad thing about any of them.
