He interviewed with the Canucks for their GM job and was “ very impressive ,” but they opted to hire someone else. The Bruins front office, aside from the Langenbrunner departure, remained busy yesterday, announcing the signing of a trade deadline acquisition. Reichel had three points (1-2–3) in 10 games with the Bruins last season, and he made his playoff debut during Game 4. The Bruins acquired him at the deadline for a 2026 sixth-rounder. IIHF WORLDS : The Bruins have eight players, including Reichel, in Switzerland playing in the IIHF World Championships, which get underway this morning.
