However, some have shared the opinion that the two-stroke penalty handed to Higgo was slightly harsh, given that he was only 10 seconds or so late to the tee on day one at Aronimink . The bottom line was that he was late, and that is all that matters, even if it was only by a second or two.

While speaking on The Golf Channel Podcast with Rex and Lav , golf journalists Rex Hoggard and Ryan Lavner gave their thoughts on the Higgo fiasco. “ I thought afterwards there was a complete lack of accountability and responsibility in how he addressed this, “ Lavner said. “ He was clearly late.
