Report: Champions League club plan to begin negotiations with Chelsea over £86m rated star Barcelona are planning to begin negotiations to sign Joao Pedro soon with talks still in an early stage according to reports. ON THE APP STORE Chelsea signed Pedro last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to £60m, and he’s hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian has scored 20 goals in all competitions, with 15 of those coming in the Premier League, and it’shard to argue against him being Chelsea’s best player this season. Barcelona plan to begin negotiations for Joao Pedro Pedro has made the number nine position his own, and has easily fought off competition from Liam Delap, who also joined last summer. The Brazil international will likely play a big role at the World Cup this summer, and his form this season hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Pedro is said to be attracting interest from Barcelona, and GE. Globo have reported the La Liga side are planning to begin negotiations soon to sign the striker. The report adds although talks are in early stages it’s thought the deal could be worth around £86m, including a fixed amount and bonuses.

Despite interest from Barcelona, Chelsea are said to have made their stance very clear that Pedro isn’t for sale this summer.
