OneFootball x Felix Green: I think Pep will struggle to walk away from Man City As part of OneFootball's collaboration series with Shoot Music we're interviewing an artist every week about their love of football. This week, we're joined by singer and Manchester City fan, Felix Green. When did you start supporting Manchester City and why?
I’ve been supporting Manchester City for as long as I can remember really. We didn’t have a family football team, so my siblings and I fell into supporting them through my godfather, so we’ve definitely got him to thank for that! What is your favourite memory of supporting Man City as a child?
It easily has to be the last game of the 2012 season. AGUEROOO! All of us were watching together but half the group had left the room in frustration, only to come rushing back in after we went mental at the last goal.
Do you think Pep will leave over the summer and if so, who should replace him? I think he’ll struggle to walk away after so long and such an up and down season. But if he did go, I’m a big fan of Xabi Alonso.
And I think along with most City fans, in a couple of years I’d love to see [Vincent] Kompany step in. Would just winning the FA Cup be seen as a successful season this time around? I think given people thought this might be a "rebuilding season" for us and we started pretty shakily, coming away with a trophy would be a success.
