Tennessee baseball wins Game 1 at Oklahoma.

Tennessee (36-18, 14-14 SEC) opened its final Southeastern Conference baseball series during the regular season on Thursday at Oklahoma (31-19, 13-15 SEC). Tennessee defeated the Sooners, 9-7, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, home to the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate Oklahoma City Comets. Tegan Kuhns (5-4) started for Tennessee and pitched five innings.

He recorded five strikeouts and 108 pitches, including 72 strikes, against 26 batters. Kuhns allowed 12 hits, five runs (four earned) and two walks. Cam Appenzeller pitched 2.
