We might be over three months out from opening night at Lumen Field, but why not take an early guess at how the reigning Super Bowl champions will fare in year three under Mike Macdonald?

Let’s take a look at each matchup and see how things might play out. Week 1 vs. New England Patriots – W (1-0) Much like how things went in Super Bowl 60 , the Seahawks should have a handle on the Patriots in this season’s kickoff game.

Although New England will be a bit more battle-tested this time around, Seattle is still on top of the league until proven otherwise. The Seahawks will most likely win by one or two scores to open the season 1-0. Week 2 at Arizona Cardinals – W (2-0) Seattle is on a nine-game win streak against Arizona dating back to the 2021 season, and the Seahawks have not lost to the Cardinals in Glendale since 2020.

Between the teams’ recent history and Arizona working with a first-time head coach in Mike LaFleur, it’s reasonable to imagine that this will be an uphill battle for the Cardinals. With the way things stand, Seattle looks poised to win another game against the Redbirds out in the desert this year. Week 3 at Washington Commanders – W (3-0) The Seahawks are facing the Commanders at Northwest Stadium for the second consecutive year, albeit earlier than last year.
