NFL releases its 2026 Thanksgiving schedule. Here's who's playing
The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys are already locked in. Outside of them, here's which NFL teams play on Thanksgiving in 2026.
For the 21st year in a row, the NFL will play three games on Thanksgiving. For the 49th year in a row, the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys will each play in one of them. The 2026 NFL schedule release has revealed the two teams set to visit Detroit and Dallas for Turkey Day this year.
In addition, the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are bracing for a primetime Thanksgiving matchup to round out the slate. In addition to the three games on Thanksgiving, the 2026 NFL season will also be the fourth in a row with a game on Black Friday, streamed on Amazon Prime Video. This year, the Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Denver Broncos on the day after Thanksgiving.
