‘If being the worst team in the NFL wasn’t enough punishment’: Cardinals schedule release video sparks outrage

Rebilas-Imagn Images The Arizona Cardinals are going into the season with veteran Jacoby Brisset as the starting quarterback after parting ways with Kyler Murray this offseason.
It marks the beginning of a new era in the desert, and the Cardinals aren’t expected to necessarily compete for a Super Bowl this season. However, not even the situation with Brisset is smooth sailing at the moment, as the veteran seeks a reworked contract before he goes into Week 1 as the starter. “Everything is good from a dialogue standpoint, but like we said this is voluntary so that’s where we will leave it,” head coach Mike LaFleur said of the situation, per the team’s official website.
Even in times of relative uncertainty surrounding the on-field product, the Cardinals will always look to keep fans engaged, even in years when the product on the field is expected to be a bit underwhelming. A fun way for teams to do that has become the annual schedule release videos. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, they used AI to create theirs and appear to have made their fans upset with the decision.
