In 2024, they had a perfect Week 11 bye. That is the only November bye the Panthers have gotten since 2017. Every other one is either very early or very late in the season.

That continues this year with the Panthers getting a bye in Week 5, which is much too early to use it for any sort of advantage or respite. The other most notable detail is the fact that the Panthers got three primetime games. They weren’t good last year, but they did make the playoffs, and that makes them interesting enough to the masses to put them in front of a national audience.
