Yahoo Sports

Deion Sanders reaffirmed his commitment to Colorado football, hoping to achieve something special with the Buffaloes.

Deion Sanders is at the University of Colorado for the long haul. That was made evident by his contract extension a couple of years ago and Sanders himself stating he has no interest in leaving Boulder, even for the NFL . On Thursday, Sanders joined Cleveland media member Garrett Bush on his "Barbershop" podcast to discuss several topics, including Shedeur Sanders, the Browns' quarterback competition and perhaps most importantly, his love for his job at Colorado.

"I love Colorado, I love my kids that I have in that locker room. I love my staff, I love all of it," Sanders told Bush. "I ain't trying to coach no NFL team.

" Sanders is saying all the things Buff Nation wants to hear from their head coach. It has never seemed like Sanders views the Colorado job as a stepping stone, but rather a destination job. Coach Prime also said later in the interview that he has high expectations and goals for the Buffaloes as they enter 2026 and beyond.

Deion Sanders' goals at Colorado "At Colorado, I want to win. I want to win it all," Sanders said. "It ain't negotiations, it ain't no side-stepping, that's my No.
