Brown after June 1, but nothing is guaranteed, and the Philadelphia Eagles could choose to trade him elsewhere. Adam Schefter has reported that the two sides are likely to come to an agreement after June 1, and then A. J.
Brown will officially get his wish of being a Patriot. However, while many experts believe a handshake deal is in place, there are no reports of such a thing. Until Brown is officially traded, the Eagles are free to trade him wherever they like.
Both the Patriots and Eagles have operated their offseasons in a manner that would suggest that Brown is soon to be playing in New England. Eagles insider Eliot Shorr-Parks appeared on WEEI and clarified that the expectation is that Brown will be a Patriot. He noted that while there is a possibility another team could slide in, the chances are very low.
