Tennessee basketball receives a commitment from VCU transfer forward.
VCU transfer forward Christian Fermin committed to Tennessee on Thursday, according to Joe Tipton of On3 . The 6-foot-10, 225-pound senior was a three-star prospect in the Rams' 2022 signing class. Fermin is from Pocono Mountain West High School in Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania.
He played in 14 games as a freshman and averaged 3. 3 minutes per contest. Fermin started in all 38 games during the 2023-24 season.
He averaged 5. 2 points, four rebounds and 1. 4 blocks per game as a sophomore.
As a junior, Fermin started in 11 of 34 contests. He averaged 4. 6 points, 3.
