Tennessee basketball rounded out its frontcourt depth with VCU transfer forward Christian Fermin, former teammate of guard Terrence Hill Jr.

Tennessee basketball needed to finalize its frontcourt depth, so it turned to a teammate of incoming transfer Terrence Hill Jr. Senior VCU forward Christian Fermin committed to the Vols on May 14, per a CBS Sports report. The 6-foot-10, 225-pound Fermin played three seasons with the Rams.

He started all 38 games in the 2023-24 season, and played alongside Hill in 2024-25. He averaged 4. 6 points, 3.

1 rebounds, 1. 4 blocks and shot 54. 4% from the floor.

Fermin only played four games last season before leaving due to a personal matter. Fermin was a former three-star prospect in high school and was the No. 5 overall player in Pennsylvania in the 247Sports Composite.
