The only team that whooped Denver’s butt last year and they did it in the Mile High City.

That 34-20 beatdown was probably going to happen at some point as the Broncos had to have been fatigued from winning so many close games. That loss reset them a bit and they ultimately secured homefield and got to the AFC Championship game. Four games left..

per our Jags Twitter insiders pic. twitter. com/4uYfozU8I9 — Couch (@BCBCouch) May 14, 2026 Prior to that loss, the Broncos had beaten the Jaguars in four of their last five meetings going back to the Peyton Manning era.

However, with Trevor Lawrence seemingly on the rise as a franchise quarterback and the Jaguars making it to the playoffs last year, they may be a team to contend in the AFC. However, there are always teams that make the playoffs one year and fall back to Earth the next and I would put Jacksonville in that category of teams to potentially take a huge step backward. That said, the Broncos will need to stack wins early in the AFC West and winning at home against Jacksonville will be a massive priority towards that goal.

Keep in mind, these are rumors and not confirmed. Just sharing for the conversation as we wait for the official schedule release tonight.
