The Eagles will host the Houston Texans on Christmas Eve, according to NFL schedule reporter OzzyNFL. It will be the first time the Eagles have faced the Texans since 2022, when Philadelphia won 29-17 in Houston. The Texans are built like the Eagles.
They have a great defense with elite talent in the front seven and secondary. But on offense, they have a solid quarterback who is not elite and have offensive line concerns. Despite having a great defense, the Texans lost to the Patriots in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs because their offense struggled.
Likewise, the Eagles had one of the best defenses in the league last year, but they lost in the first round of the playoffs to the 49ers because their offense couldn’t sustain drives.
