Injuries are always a concern with Stanton at this stage of his career. He's well aware of it, and so are Yankees fans. To protect his body, the 36-year-old never runs full speed on purpose.
Given manager Aaron Boone's latest update, it sounds like the slugger could be out of the lineup for a while longer. "It's still lingering there. Not any worse," Boone told MLB.
