The Boston Red Sox avoided yet another serious injury, it seems.

MassLive. com's Christopher S mith reported that the initial imaging on Wong came back negative and that the current expectation is that he'll be fine.

"Initial imaging on Connor Wong is negative. He should be fine but the Red Sox will know more tomorrow, [interim manager Chad Tracy] said," Smith wrote on X. This is for the best for Boston.
