Yahoo Sports

The Jets added another experienced pass catcher as Aaron Glenn’s roster makeover continues.

The New York Jets are apparently done collecting chaos. This offseason has felt like a deliberate effort to replace unpredictability with professionalism , especially on offense. That trend continued with the reported addition of veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick.

This is not the type of move that inspires jersey preorders or dramatic social media countdowns. That doesn’t make it unimportant. In fact, quite the opposite is true.

The news comes via ESPN: Source: The Jets have agreed to terms with veteran WR Tim Patrick, who visited today. Played in 16 games last season for Jacksonville, caught 15 passes for 187 yards and 3 TDs. A veteran presence in the WR room, with inside-outside flexibility.
