Browns’ schedule advantages: Impact or just talk?

When looking at all 32 NFL teams and the distance they must travel for their away games this season, the Cleveland Browns have the second fewest miles traveled of any team . They are not participating in any international games this season and do not have to make any long trips out to the West Coast. They will only have to travel to two teams outside of the Eastern time zone this season as well.

When looking at the Browns’ opponents in 2026 , they have the easiest schedule in the entire league based on their opponents’ winning percentage from the 2025 season. Obviously, win percentage in 2025 is not a perfect metric for how a team will perform in 2026. There are many trades, roster changes, and new draft picks that will greatly impact each individual roster.

However, it does give some general direction on how to look at the difficulty of this upcoming season. How much does this all really matter, though? While strength of schedule and easy travel are important factors, it won’t make a big difference if the team cannot put together a competitive roster.
