Tobias Harris plays 40 minutes in Detroit-Cleveland Game 5

A former Vol faces elimination in the NBA playoffs after a Game 5 loss.

No. 4 seed Cleveland defeated No. 1 seed Detroit, 117-113, on Wednesday in Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs semifinals at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

The Cavaliers lead the best-of-seven series, 3-2. Game 6 will be contested on Friday at 7 p. m.

EDT. Former Vol Tobias Harris started for the Pistons on Wednesday and played 40 minutes. He totaled 13 points and converted 6-of-19 field goal attempts and 1-of-7 three-point attempts.

Harris also recorded six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. Former Vol Chaz Lanier did play for the Pistons in Game 5 due to a coach's decision. Harris played for the Vols from 2010-11 under head coach Bruce Pearl .
