Raducanu had been dealing with the effects of a post-viral infection when she pulled out of the Italian Open. Earlier in the season, she also missed the Miami Open due to illness.
The Linz Open was another tournament that Raducanu was unable to play in, adding to her extended break from the WTA Tour. But signs are positive that Raducanu will be back on court soon. She hasnโt played since Indian Wells back in March, but a return later this month looks increasingly likely.

Raducanu has split her season evenly so far, holding a record of seven wins and seven losses from 14 matches played. The event sits between the Italian Open and Roland Garros on the calendar, giving players a final chance to tune up ahead of the French Open.
