Odds to win WNBA Championship in 2026

Yahoo Sports

The 2026 WNBA season has only just started, and the race for the title is still in its early stages. That is part of what makes futures betting so interesting right now. A few games can change the picture quickly, but the first board already shows a clear group at the top and a long list of teams still trying to prove where they belong.

The New York Liberty opened as the favorite, the Las Vegas Aces are still right behind them, and the Indiana Fever are drawing attention because Caitlin Clark is healthy again. Minnesota, Atlanta and other contenders also remain in the mix, which gives this season a wide open feel even at the start. There is also more going on than just the odds.

The league entered the year with more focus on physical play, and that has already become part of the early-season conversation. Napheesa Collier spoke about how physical the game has become, while Becky Hammon said the league tried to make the game more fluid. Breanna Stewart also pointed out how long and physical games have looked early on.

With stars like Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Jonquel Jones, A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Napheesa Collier shaping the league, the championship race is built around more than one team. The season is young, and the board will keep moving, but the opening odds already tell a clear story about who the market trusts most.
