Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin share wholesome moment after Fever-Sparks
Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin are back together... for just a second.
It's been a tough past week or so for new Los Angeles Sparks guard Kate Martin, but she got to share a wholesome moment with close friend Caitlin Clark on Wednesday evening. After Clark's Indiana Fever got a road win over Martin's new team, the two briefly caught up on the court after the contest and shared a big hug. It was great to see these old Iowa pals reconnect, if only for a quick moment.
Martin got cut unexpectedly by the Golden State Valkyries before the 2026 WNBA season. However, she signed a developmental deal with the Sparks and will now help Los Angeles for the upcoming slate of games. A bond never broken ๐งก Former @IowaWBB teammates Caitlin Clark & Kate Martin shared a moment after their game!

Maybe they'll play together again one day ? Why did the Valkyries cut Martin? The team likely preferred its other guard options at roster cutdown time.
