The 30-year-old has made 86 appearances for the London club since signing in 2021 and was part of the side that won the Prem title in 2023. "Theo joined the club five years ago and has developed tremendously during his time here," said Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall.

"Through his dedication, professionalism and hard work both on and off the pitch, he has grown into an outstanding rugby player and athlete. " McFarland, who has 24 caps for Samoa and can play in either the back row or second row, has played 15 games this campaign, scoring three tries. He said he has "loved" his time at the club.

"I will continue to give everything I have in these final few games and help finish the season strongly," McFarland said.
