Speaking with CBS Sports national college basketball writer Isaac Trotter, Yessoufou addressed the possibility of returning to the college level after entering both the NBA Draft and transfer portal earlier this offseason.
โTo be honest, Iโve never thought about that one because Iโm not planning on returning [to college],โ Yessoufou said. โAgain, my main focus is just the draft. โ The talented 6-foot-5 guard officially entered the transfer portal just before the April deadline after initially announcing that he would just test the NBA Draft waters.
During his freshman season at Baylor, Yessoufou emerged as one of the top young guards in the country, averaging 17. 8 points, 5. 9 rebounds, and 1.
6 assists per game while starting all 34 contests. He also shot 46. 5% from the field and became known for his athletic scoring ability and transition offense.
