Julian Hall makes MLS history with first career hat-trick Julian Hall enjoyed a night to remember on Wednesday as the 18-year-old scored all three goals in New York Red Bulls’ 3-2 win over Columbus Crew. It was the first hat-trick of his professional career and a historic moment in Major League Soccer . At just 18 years and 50 days old, Hall became the youngest player ever to score a hat-trick in MLS history, breaking the previous records held by Ricardo Pepi and Kekuta Manneh .

A product of the Red Bull setup in New York, Hall made his MLS debut on 30 September 2023 at the age of just 15 years and 190 days, becoming the youngest player to appear for the club in the competition. More recently, he also spent time with RB Leipzig’s Under-19 side in Germany. The teenager has enjoyed a remarkable campaign so far, registering 12 goals and two assists in 15 appearances.

He is quickly becoming one of the standout young talents in MLS and has already started attracting attention around the United States national team. Despite having Polish roots, Hall has chosen to represent the United States at youth level. With Mauricio Pochettino 's final squad announcement approaching, a World Cup call-up still appears unlikely at this stage, though it cannot be completely ruled out.

Either way, the future looks extremely bright for the young forward.
