Slot says he has ‘every reason’ to believe he will be at Liverpool next season Arne Slot says he has “every reason” to believe he will be the Liverpool boss next season. The Liverpool head coach has come under pressure this season following an underwhelming campaign which will end without silverware . But Slot says plans for next season are well underway and is confident he will still be at the club.
“I don’t think I’m deciding that alone, but I have every reason to believe that I am the Liverpool manager next season,” he said. “First of all, I’m contracted to this club, and second of all, from all the talks we’re having and that is my take on it. “But as I said, if you don’t have the best season, especially if you compare it with last season, this has definitely not been a great season, and it’s normal that criticism comes.
“I think we’ve all had our share. The players, the manager, and other people in the club have had their share. That is how things work nowadays if you don’t win the league.
