Since moving up to Light Heavyweight, he’s never been outsized or outmuscled , becoming champion and defending in a second weight class. All the while, Pereira has a habit of appearing much larger and more intimidating than whoever happens to be standing next to him. He’s a notorious mogger, in Gen Z terms.
Sean O’Malley recently shared the stage with Pereira as part of the UFC White House press conference , as “Suga” is scheduled to face Aiemann Zahabi in the bout immediately preceding Pereira’s Heavyweight debut opposite Ciryl Gane. “Suga” was very impressed with Pereira’s mass gain … particularly in the glutes.
