with the Chicago White Sox during the offseason, there were a lot more questions than answers. Robert is an incredible player when he's on the field, at times. When I say at times, I really want to emphasize that.
For a lot of his career, he's been a rather average player, even if the highs have been as impressive as they are. Regardless, even if we take his play out of the picture here, there's no denying the injuries that this guy has dealt with throughout his career. He's only played in more than 100 games twice in his career, and he debuted in 2020.
Now dealing with another injury, it doesn't sound like he's ready to get going anytime soon. He's currently dealing with a lumbar spine disc herniation, and Carlos Mendoza had the latest on when he could return. “He’s still showing some symptoms there,” Mendoza said of Robert, per SNY .
