MSU football schedules official visit with Ohio EDGE prospect
Michigan State football has quickly added another prospect to its list of official visitors. Lawrence Kanneh of Columbus, Ohio announced on Wednesday that he has locked in an official visit to Michigan State for early June. According to a post from Kanneh, the official visit will take place on June 5.
Kanneh announced the official visit with the Spartans only hours after he picked up an offer from Michigan State. Kanneh is listed as an unranked and unrated prospect in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. He is listed at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, and plays for Whitehall Yearling High.
Michigan State is the first power four school to extend Kanneh an offer, but he has picked up a lot of interest from the group of six level. According to 247Sports, he also holds offers from Appalachian State, East Carolina , Marshall, South Florida, Akron, Kent State, Toledo and Miami (OH). Michigan State if the first program to lock in an official visit with Kanneh and appears to be in the drivers seat for his recruitment.
We will have to wait and see if any other teams jump into the mix as well, but for now, it looks like Michigan State is in a strong position for this under-the-radar prospect. Excited to go on an official visit with Michigan State! @Coach_Bindel @Coach_DeBo46 pic.
