The Chicago White Sox’s 6-5 win over the Royals on Wednesday night was briefly delayed after a fan fell into the Kansas City bullpen in right field. The game at Rate Field in Chicago was suddenly stopped in the fourth inning without much of an explanation. Medical personnel went rushing out into the Royals’ bullpen after a fan fell.

Further specifics on the fan’s condition, or what led to the incident, are not yet known. The White Sox were up 3-0 at the time, before the Royals tied the game up in the inning after the brief pause in the contest. Jarred Kelenic hit a two-run double in the fifth and Colson Montgomery hit a solo home run in the seventh to put the White Sox back out in front.
