Former Sixers star James Harden erupts to lead Cavs past Pistons
Former Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden leads the Cleveland Cavaliers past the Detroit Pistons on the road in Game 5.
With the Philadelphia 76ers out of the playoffs, now is the time to look at some former players still alive in the postseason as they look to make a run for their current teams. The other Round 2 matchup in the Eastern Conference features a number of former Sixers in the form of Tobias Harris and Paul Reed for the Detroit Pistons while the Cleveland Cavaliers feature James Harden. Harden had 30 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, including making some big shots down the stretch, and leading the Cavs to a 117-113 overtime win over the Pistons in Game 5.
The Beard shot 8-for-21 from the floor and 11-for-14 from the foul line to lead the Cavs to a 3-2 lead in the series and one win away from the Eastern Conference finals.
