Darby Allin vs. Konosuke Takeshita for the world title headlined another loaded episode of AEW Dynamite on May 13.

All Elite Wrestling Credit: All Elite Wrestling With Double or Nothing quickly approaching, another episode of AEW Dynamite took place Wednesday night from Asheville, North Carolina, featuring two title matches and the official confirmation of the AEW World Championship match set for the pay-per-view on May 24. Advertised for the show was Will Ospreay returning to the ring for the first time in three weeks to face Ace Austin, a six-woman tag match involving AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla, and the reveal of the Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament brackets. The cherry on top, though, was another AEW World Championship defense from Darby Allin, who put the title on the line against Konosuke Takeshita after Kazuchika Okada was pulled from the match due to his tour in Japan.
