Miami Dolphins Discussion: Way Too Early 2027 NFL Draft Needs

Yahoo Sports

We ask Miami Dolphins fans for their way too early draft needs for the team in 2027.

While the new brain trust in South Florida has done a fairly solid job of filling holes in the team’s roster thus far this offseason, there are still some very obvious needs if they hope to take the next step towards getting this thing back to where it should be. Given that the Dolphins also enter the 2026-2027 NFL season with one of the league’s most difficult schedules, I would suspect that even if we see solid signs of growth that offer future hope, our place in the 2027 draft order should be fairly high.

Some so-called “draft experts” have Miami picking either first or second overall. While I don’t expect this team to all of a sudden be good, I doubt we wind up with a top-two pick, but a top-five pick would seem realistic. So this evening’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is: Given what you know about the Miami Dolphins roster presently and given what you believe you know of the most current draft class, what positions should the team be targeting in free agency in 2027, as well as the 2027 NFL draft?

Please give us your way-too-early list of needs in 2027, along with your reasoning. Please share your thoughts and answers in the comments section below-
