Jeremy Fears Jr. impresses in NBA Draft Combine scrimmage
Jeremy Fears Jr. was one of the standout players in the NBA Draft Combine scrimmages
While the expectation is that he will be back at Michigan State next season , MSU basketball star Jeremy Fears Jr. is currently at the NBA Draft Combine, where he is taking part in scrimmages and getting his measurements taken. His measurements from Tuesday were very positive , but he had an even better day on Wednesday, when he was one of the standout players during the NBA Draft Combine scrimmages.
In this first scrimmage, Fears finished with 17 points and five assists and went 1-for-2 on three-pointers. Multiple analysts in attendance listed Fears as one of the big winners from the scrimmage portion of the draft combine. With Fears' measurements coming in better than expected while also dominating in the scrimmage, Fears will probably have the option of going to the pros whenever he chooses to do so, whether that's this year or next.
While I don't want to put anxiety into the minds of MSU fans, and I want to clarify that I am not reporting anything, my speculation would be that this week made the odds of him leaving this year for the NBA improve slightly based on his measurements and performance in the scrimmage. MSU fans will be waiting on bated breath to hear what he decides to do. Jeremy Fears Jr.
, the brother of Jeremiah Fears, had a good first scrimmage at the NBA Combine. Finished with 17 points and five assists. Had a couple of nice lob passes in transition.
