Bengals QB Joe Flacco gets a turn on Netflix's 'Quarterback' series
First Joe Burrow, now Joe Flacco on the big show for the Bengals.
Here comes the Cincinnati Bengals on a popular, global show again. This time, it’s Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco who will star on the upcoming season of Netflix's “Quarterback,” an announcement that rolled out the day before the NFL schedule release this week. Joe Burrow himself starred on the show not all that long ago.
This time, it will be Burrow’s backup, who, as fans surely remember, turned into the starter on an emergency basis last season after coming over via trade. It should be, if nothing else, wildly entertaining to see how the trade and Flacco’s quick adjustment went down behind the scenes. Flacco re-signed with the Bengals this offseason earlier than expected, giving the Bengals arguably, and now fittingly, the best quarterback room in the NFL.
