Decatur hires new boys soccer coach

May 13—Trey Stanford has been hired to be the new head coach of Decatur High's boys soccer program, the school announced Wednesday. Stanford comes from Russellville, where he spent 10 seasons as head coach of the Golden Tigers, amassing a 119-34-10 record and winning eight area championships. Stanford will also serve as an assistant coach for Decatur High's football team.
