Knicks Optimistic OG Anunoby Will Return For Eastern Conference Finals

“There is an expectation that he will be able to play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals,” Charania said on air, per sources. “The expectation and hope is that he will be a go for Game 1. ” Anunoby has been out a week with a tweaked right hamstring suffered in Game 2 against the Philadelphia 76ers on May 6.
The Knicks are awaiting the winner of the series between the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers. Game 5 is set for Wednesday night with the series tied at 2-2. Knicks coach Mike Brown told reporters Anunoby participated in “some parts” of practice on Wednesday.
