Iowa women's basketball lands international forward Ella Stromdahl

Iowa women's basketball has gone international. The Hawkeyes landed a commitment from Swedish forward Ella Stromdahl, per Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register . Stromdahl, who will turn 19 in August, stands six feet tall and is a native of Uppsala, Sweden.

The 6-foot forward averaged 6. 5 points and 2. 9 rebounds per game on the RIG Lulea Swedish academy team last season.

Stromdahl has played on Sweden’s under-16 and under-18 national teams. ANOTHER ONE: Iowa has landed a 6-foot forward out of Sweden in Ella Stromdahl, a source tells the Register. She'll join McKenna Woliczko in the Class of 2026.
