The viral Caitlin Clark-Jeremy Lin hot take really is that bad
This hot take really *is* that bad.
Look, we're sure you've seen the absolutely mind-bogglingly bad Caitlin Clark take floating around the internet. Just in case you haven't, yes, it really is that bad. Someone compared Clark's WNBA career to Jeremy Lin's NBA moment in 2012.
With all respect to the beauty of "Linsanity," there is no world where anyone who actually watches basketball can compare Clark and Lin and their respective basketball careers. Tyrone Johnson of The Craig Carton Show did, however, and his lava-hot take will echo in the minds of all who hear it for the rest of the WNBA season. Honestly, kudos to him for crafting such an absolutely atrocious sports take.
The hot take artists on television wish they could descend to this kind of jaw-dropping hot take-making. We could go through the basketball reasoning here and punch Grand Canyon-sized holes in it, but we honestly don't even need to do that. You can do it the second you hear this radio host's hot take.
Some NSFW language to follow. "The Caitlin Clark thing is over. Because she's not the best player in the WNBA.
