Pueblo County baseball to host regional, several teams make playoffs
The 2026 CHSAA Baseball regional playoffs begin this week on May 16, and Pueblo is sending six teams to fight for a chance at the state tournament.
The 2026 CHSAA baseball playoffs will commence this weekend for Class 2A, 4A, and 5A. Pueblo West will participate in the 5A playoffs, Rye High School made the 2A playoffs, and Pueblo Central, South, East and County will participate in the 4A playoffs, with County being the host team for their region. All playoffs begin with regional matchups starting on May 16.
Each classification will have eight regionals, with each regional hosting four teams, for 32 teams in total. Only one team from each regional will advance to the state tournaments.
