On Tuesday, we learned who the Trojans will face in Big Ten play next season

USC men’s basketball’s 2025-2026 season was an extremely disappointing one. However, the Trojans have significantly upgraded their roster this offseason, and have a lot of a hype surrounding them heading into next year. The start of the 2026-2027 season is still nearly six months away.

On Tuesday, however, we found out USC’s Big Ten opponents for conference play next year. Once again, the Trojans will play West Coast foes UCLA , Oregon , and Washington twice each—once at home, and once away. As for the remaining 14 schools, USC will face each of them once, with seven of those games at Galen Center and seven on the road.

The locations of those games will be the reverse of this past season. So in 2026-2027, the Trojans will host Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin. They will travel to face Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, and Rutgers.

With this arrangement, USC hosts every Big Ten team at least once every two years, and also visits every school in the conference at least every other year. The Trojans’ full 2026-2027 schedule, including the entire nonconference and conference slates, will be announced at a later date.
